WeChat Ecosystem Project
2022-2026 Undergoing Ph.D. Project
RMIT University (AU)
This PhD research project will focus on WeChat ecology and Chinese students living in Australia. It seeks to understand how the WeChat ecosystem continues to play a significant role in the lives of these young user groups. More precisely, I will examine why Chinese students in Melbourne continue to use WeChat despite its strict censorship regime and all the other social media platforms available.

RMIT University (AU)
This project was initially conducted in February 2021, with a second edit in December 2022 (undergoing). This paper focuses on two Twitter accounts, that is, Victoria (@VicGovDH) and NSW official (@NSWhealth), trying to compare their infor-dissemination methods during Covid and how the public reacts to their online practice. This research paper will adopt quantitative research methods by using content analysis (CA) and sentiment analysis (SA) further investigate two Twitter accounts.
